Meyer Optik Görlitz has announced the Lydith 30 f/3.5 II, which is available in a wide range of mounts for both full-frame, APS-C and Micro Four Thirds cameras.

The new Lydith 30 f/3.5 II is compatible with Nikon F, Canon EF, Fujifilm X, Sony E, Micro Four Thirds, Leica L, Leica M and Pentax K mounts.

The new Lydith 30 f/3.5 II is the second lens Meyer Optik has launched since it re-emerged from administration with new ownership. Earlier this year it debuted the Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II.

The new Meyer Optik lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 15cm, making it suitable for macro photography. Videographers will also appreciate its stepless aperture from f/3.5 to f/16.

Meyer Optik says it also plans to release a new Primoplan 75 f/1.9 II and the Primoplan 58 f/1.9 II are expected to be released in the next 4-6 weeks.
