Meyer Optik Görlitz set for return with new arsenal of lenses

Meyer Optik resurrects Lydith 30mm f/3.5
News

Meyer Optik Görlitz has announced it has revamped its portfolio of lenses and will soon resume trading later this summer.

Meyer Optik Görlitz, which went into administration last year before being resurrected by OPC Optics, has optimised a number of the company’s previous lenses and started work on developing new lenses.

The first new Meyer Optik Görlitz lens to be released will be the Trioplan 100 II, which is currently at a prototype stage and will be the company’s first ‘revised’ lens to hit the market.

Meyer Optik Görlitz is also developing the Trioplan 50 / 35+, Lydith 30 and Primoplan 58 / 75. Of these lenses, the Trioplan 50 will be the next to market, followed shortly by the Lydith 30 and Primoplan 75.

The Primagon 50 f/2.0 will be Meyer Optik Görlitz’s first completely new lens to be released. Mounts, specs and price information will be released at a later date, the company says.
