When it comes to the design of the Chicago backpacks, Manfrotto has looked at what urban photographers need whatever the subject matter. From skate to wildlife, these two backpack’s are equipped to suit the environment and subject matter.
The Chicago blends urban style with flexibility, meaning that the packs can be used as a day to day bag or even as an ideal travel companion for photo city breaks.

Kevlar might be the material choice for bulletproof vests, but here Kevlar yarn is also an excellent option for providing a durable base for both packs. The tough kevlar thread ensures protection and durability while the Duraflex buckles and YKK zips ensure everything is kept safely inside.
Inside each pack is a removable photo insert designed to help protect the contained kit. Once removed, the bag can be used as a standard backpack, or the insert itself can be used as a simple shoulder bag.
Each bag has been designed to carry a full-frame mirrorless or DSLR camera with a standard zoom lens. In addition, the small pack will fit 2 – 3 lenses while the medium will take 3 – 4 lenses.
A common feature for almost all camera backpacks is the inclusion of a top section for personal gear. This can be used for a rain jacket or stashing a DJI OSMO Mobile, small drone or gimbal.
Across the bag, there are several additional pockets designed to keep essentials such as memory cards, cables and adapters.
On the back of each pack is a laptop slot with room for a 15-inch in the medium and 14-inch in the small.
Tripods are an essential piece of kit, and both packs have been designed to carry a small tripod either across the bag or base of the bag.
