Vitec Group, the company that owns Manfrotto as part of its large portfolio of photographic accessory brands, has acquired Lowepro and JOBY.
With the addition of JOBY and Lowepro, Vitec’s range of brands grows to 22, which as wellas Manfrotto also includes Gitzo, Lastolite, Colorama and Avenger.
Lowepro is one of the market leaders of camera bags, which was acquired by DayMen back in 2002. Meanwhile JOBY, which was founded in 2006, is known for its GorillaPod flexible mini tripod range.

No financial terms of the deal were revealed.
