Manfrotto has launched a new hybrid lightweight video kit, unveiling the 500 Video System for small camera systems up to 5kg.
The new 500 Video System includes Manfrotto’s popular 500 Fluid Video Head which boasts a pre-set counterbalance of 2.4kg and fluid artridges on both the pan and tilt axes. It also includes a snap-lock, sliding QR plate.
The 500 Video System’s legs are the MVK500190XV which are based on its 190 tripods and feature D-shaped tubes. It can reach a maximum height of 173.3cm, or 72.2cm closed down.
The legs feature Quick Power Locks and allow for four different leg angles, which can be set individually.
There are also three grub screws on the top disc that eliminate movement by locking into the head and a levelling bubble allow for fast levelling on any surface.
The new Manfrotto 500 Video System also accommodates accessories such as the company’s Easy Link connector.
