Manfrotto launch three new ball heads to update and expand their existing range. Announced are the 492 and 492 LCD and joining them is the all-new 490.
All three heads are aimed at the amateur photographer and offer a good balance between weight and size.
The 492 and 492LCD are compact and designed for holding accessories such as LED lights, lightweight reflectors, video monitors and recording equipment up to a maximum weight of 4kg. These will appeal to the new generation of videographers who need flexible and adaptable solutions.
The MH492-BH will have an SRP of £54.95, and the MH492LCD-BH is £64.95

This new compact ball head answers the needs of CSC and compact DSLR photographers. As with the latest compact and lightweight cameras, the 490 keeps things simple yet flexible and offers a maximum payload of 4kg. More than enough for most CSC lens combos.
