Manfrotto has announced the 645 FTT Fast Twin tripod and 635 FST Single Leg Fast, priced from £999.95, which claim to be the ‘fastest video set-up ever.’
Aimed at professional videographers, Manfrotto’s new video tripods employ its new Fast Lock System and are made of carbon fibre.
Manfrotto’s 645 FTT Fast Twin Tripod is the first model in a new range and offers double tubing and Ultra L-Locks for more strength.
The 645 FTT Fast Twin comes with a 2 in 1 half ball: a standard 100mm bowl along with a 75mm adapter that allows users to swap and use a wider range of video heads.
Other features include a middle spreader lock; however, the spreader is option for use.
The Manfrotto 635 FST Single Leg Fast boasts single tubing with Extra M-Lock twist locks. The 635 FST tripod comes with a 75mm half ball and is compatible with a 60-mm half ball adapter (sold separately).
Other features include with Easy Link friction arm attachments compatible with Manfrotto anti-rotation and Arri anti-twist pins. This allows users to attach an external monitor or any other accessory they may require without the risk of the arm rotating while in use.
Both new Manfrotto video tripods are compatible with the 2 in 1 ground and middle telescopic spreader, sold separately. Other shared features include spiked feet with rubber overshoes.
Manfrotto’s new Fast Lock tripods are priced from £999.95, with a release date set for November.
