Macphun has announced that the latest version of its HDR editing software, Aurora HDR 2018, will now be available for Windows PCs as well as Mac computers.

Among the new features in Aurora HDR 2018 is a lens correction filter that Macphun claims can remove all types of lens distortion, from barrel and pincushion to chromatic aberration and vignetting.

Macphun says Aurora HDR 2018 also offers raw processing that is up to 4x faster than the previous version, and also boasts up to 200% faster merging and masking performance.

Macphun says it will also announced a full list of features for Aurora HDR 2018 when pre-orders begin on 12 September 2017.
