LG’s upcoming V30 smartphone will feature a camera with an f/1.6 lens, the fastest aperture in its class, the company has revealed.
Teasing its new V30 smartphone, LG says the camera will also boast a glass lens, which promises to produce better colours than the plastic models that are commonly used.
“LG boasts an unrivaled heritage in smartphone photography,” LG said. “Our decision to adopt glass in the V30 camera is specifically because this has traditionally been the realm of DSLRs.
“For the users for whom the V series was designed, this kind of innovation is significant.”
The LG V30 will be officially announced at IFA in Berlin on 31 August.
