Lexar has announced a new line of UHS-II compliant SDXC memory cards. With read speeds up to 270MB/s, the new Lexar Professional 1800x SDXC UHS-II Gold series of cards is aimed at professional photographers and videographers who need a fast workflow.
The latest UHS-II technology also enables write speeds of up to 180MB/s, which means the cards can cope with high continuous shooting rates. The cards are also rated V60 and UHS Speed Class 3 (U3), meaning they’re suitable for recording Full-HD and 4K video, and with capacities up to 256GB, there’s plenty of storage space.
The Lexar Professional 1800x SDXC UHS-II Card Gold Series cards are waterproof, temperature-proof to between 32ºF (-0ºC) and 158ºF (70 ºC), shockproof, vibration-proof, and X-ray-proof, plus they’re backwards compatible with UHS-I devices.
