Leica has launched a limited edition titanium version of one of its classic rangefinder cameras, the Leica M-P ’TITANIUM’ Set.
This is the fifth titanium version of a camera that Leica has now launched,and the Leica M-P ’TITANIUM’ Set consists of the M-P and two lenses – a Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH. and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH.
Leica will limit the Set to just 333 models, sold globally from October 2016 with a price tag of £17,500.
This titanium version of the Leica M-P makes the camera some 90g lighter than the standard model. Other signature features include the Leica script engraved on the top plate and a special edition serial number on the accessory shoe.
Both lenses also bear a titanium finish and a red engraving of the focal length on the front element retaining ring.
