Leica has pushed back the release date for its medium format S3, according to the company’s website.
Originally scheduled to debut in spring of 2019, the Leica S3 product listing page now says it will be available as of spring 2020.
The Leica S3 was originally announced in September 2018 at the Photokina trade show in Cologne, Germany.
The Leica S3 will use a 64-megapixel medium format sensor that will be capable of recording Cine 4K video.
It will also offer up to 15 stops of dynamic range and native sensitivity up to ISO 50,000.
