Leica has officially unveiled the Leica Q3 43, the latest addition to its celebrated Q-Series, featuring a new 43mm APO-Summicron f/2 ASPH. lens. This compact full-frame camera is designed to provide users with superior image quality while offering enhanced portability, making it ideal for street photography and portraits.
The Q3 43’s standout feature is its 43mm fixed focal length, designed to closely match the human eye’s natural field of view. This allows photographers to capture images with minimal distortion, making it especially suited for realistic, high-quality shots. The APO-Summicron lens integrates advanced apochromatic correction, ensuring sharp, high-contrast photos even at maximum aperture.
Leica has incorporated its renowned BSI CMOS full-frame sensor into the Q3 43, offering a choice of 60, 36, or 18-megapixel resolutions through Triple Resolution Technology. Additionally, with an ISO range of 50 to 100,000 and a fast hybrid autofocus system, the camera performs impressively in both low light and fast-paced environments.
Beyond photography, the Q3 43 supports 8K video recording, making it a versatile tool for videographers. Users can also enhance their workflow through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless data transfer via the Leica FOTOS app.
Aesthetic touches include a grey leather outer, contrasting with the black body, and a range of optional accessories like an integrated handgrip for comfort and wireless charging compatibility.
