Leica has announced a new Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH lens, as well as a ‘Ghost Edition’ version of the M10-P.
Leica Camera teamed up with HODINKEE to create the special edition Leica M10-P Ghost Edition, which includes a Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens.
Limited to 250 units, the Ghost Edition M10-P is ‘a nod to the desirable “ghosted” aesthetic emerged through the natural ageing and wear of a wristwatch bezel, creating an equally beautiful new look and feel with a storied past,’ Leica says.
The Leica M10-P Ghost Edition retains all the same specifications as the original M10-P, and the kit includes a grey rope strap with Italian vegetable-tanned black leather accents, and a certificate of authenticity.
Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH Lens
Leica has also added a new telephoto lens to its range of fast prime lenses for the M-System. The Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH. features eight elements, two of which are aspherical and made from specialised glass, arranged in six groups.
The Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH. also features an integrated lens hood, which can be quickly and easily deployed and locked with a twist to provide further protection against stray light and reflections.
Leica’s Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH price tag is $12,995.00.
