Leica has announced its latest APO-Summicron-SL series lens, introducing the APO-Summicron-SL 28 f/2 ASPH, priced at £4,050.
The new wide-angle 28mm Leica lens is compatible with L-mount cameras and joins the existing 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and 90mm optics in the series.
The fast f/2 aperture promises strong low light performance, and Leica says its construction has been designed to prevent distortion, stray light and reflections.
The Leica APO-Summicron-SL 28 f/2 ASPH is also sealed to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture, while the front element features an Aquadura coating for use in all weather conditions.
The APO-Summicron-SL 28 f/2 ASPH price tag is £4,050 / $5,195.00 and is available from Leica Stores.
