Leica debuts Q Silver
News

Leica has announced a new anodized silver version of the Leica Q (Typ 116) premium compact camera at the PhotoPlus show in New York.

The camera’s specifications remain the same as the black and titanium versions that already exist.

The new Leica Q Silver model, like the other versions, features the same 24-megapixel, full-frame CMOS image sensor that delivers a native ISO range of up to 50,000, as well as the Leica Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH fixed prime lens.

The main difference is in its design.

The new Leica Q Silver features an anodised silver top plate and base plate set against black paint on the body and a black leather trim.

What’s more, the control elements on the top plate of the Leica Q Silver are also anodised silver.

The name of the camera is also engraved in black, and the focal length figures on the lens are marked in red.

The Leica Q Silver price tag will be $4,495.
