Leica Camera has announced the Leica D-Lux 7 – price tag £995 – an update to its premium compact camera which adds a slew of new features.
New to the Leica D-Lux 7 is expanded video capability, which can now record 4K video at up to 30p, as well as 100 Mbit.
There’s also new Bluetooth capability, USB-C charging and a 1.24-megapixel, 3-inch touchscreen display.
Leica has also increased the resolution, giving the D-Lux 7 a new 17-megapixel four-thirds sensor.
The Leica D-Lux 7 comes with a fixed Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34 mm f/1.7–2.8 ASPH. zoom lens (24-75mm equivalent) and a maximum ISO of 25,600.
Other features include a 2.8-megapixel electronic viewfinder, built-in Focus Stacking mode and a WiFi module.
The D-Lux 7 is also compatible with Leica’s new FOTOS app, which enables you to control the camera remotely from your smartphone.
