Laowa latest 12mm prime has been designed to give you the widest angle of view with the minimum level of distortion.

Featuring metal alloy construction this 12mm manual focus prime looks set to follow the high quality optics of Laowa’s other primes such as the 105mm f/2 (T3.2) STF and 15mm f/4 Macro. The new ultra wide 12mm features 16 glass elements in 10 groups, 3 extra-low dispersion elements and 2 aspherical elements.

A floating optical design has been used in order to help provide exceptional sharpness across the focus range, all the way from infinity focus to the minimum focusing distance of 18cm.

The 12mm focal length equates to an impressive 122 ultra wide angle of view making it an ideal option for landscape and architectural photography.

The Laowa 12mm F/2.8 ZERO-D lens will be available in Canon EF, Nikon AI, Sony A, Pentax K and Sony E mounts.
