Kodak has announced a new superzoom bridge camera that offers a 102x zoom lens, introducing the Kodak AZ1000.

Inside the Kodak AZ1000 is a 20.68-megapixel 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor, while it’s fixed lens offers a focal range from 3.5mm all the way up to 357mm (19.5-1989mm equivalent) with an aperture range from f/3.0 to f/6.8.

The lens is constructed of 18 elements in 14 groups and offers a close focusing distance of 1cm.

Other features include Optical Image Stabilisation, 7fps burst shooting and a native ISO range from 100 up to 3200.

The Kodak AZ1000 can also record 4K video at 30fps, as well as Full HD at 30/60p. It can also shoot high-speed movies at 120fps in 1280 x 720. There’s also built-in WiFi and an HDMI port.
