Kingston release endurance MicroSD range
News

Memory experts Kingston have announced a new range of MicroSD memory cards that have been designed tough.

The new range is aimed at those using cameras and devices that are often exposed to extreme conditions; from use in external devices such as security cameras to being thrown around in the latest action camera.

The demands of the latest cameras such as the GoPro Hero 7 Black with 4K video captured at 60fps means the demands on cards are higher than ever.

Kingstons latest High Endurance microSD are engineered to cope with the high levels of tolerance when it comes to increased demands of dataflow.

Increase capacities ensure there’s plenty of space for 4K video and even full 360 video capture.

The 32GB and 64GB cards have read speeds of 95MB/s and write speeds of 30MB/s. The 128GB version of the card takes a step up with 95MB/s read speeds and 45MB/s Write, more than enough to cope with any action camera.

Action cameras tend to be put into extreme conditions and as the specifications of these small cameras increase so do their operating temperatures.

Partner that with the extreme conditions that these small cameras are put through, being dunked in water, thrown around, and exposed to extremes it’s not just the camera that needs to be able to cope.

The High Endurance microSD cards are tested under harsh conditions to ensure that they’re durable and up to the job.

Each card is tested under punishing conditions being exposed to temperature extremes, shock, water and x-ray.

Kingston’s High Endurance microSD cards are available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities and will come with a two-year warranty, free technical support.
