Kenro has launched a new camera slider that can double its length in either direction to produce smoother panning video footage.
Kenro’s new Double Distance Slider measures 50cm in length, offering 38cm of movement when sat on the ground. However, when mounted on a tripod the slider can extend up to a full 76cm in either direction.
The Kenro Double Distance Slider is able to stretch so far thanks to gears that enable a bar to extend automatically as the camera moves in a particular direction.
The Double Distance Slider is constructed from aluminium and weighs just 1.64kg, yet can accept a payload of up to 3kg while on the tripod and up to 6kg if set up on the ground.
