The iPhone X is the best smartphone for still images, according to DxOMark’s newly released test results.
The iPhone X has earned a score of 101 for image quality in DxO’s photo category, just beating the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which earned scores of 100.
DxO says the iPhone X markedly improves on the iPhone 8 Plus’s score for zoom performance, as well as Exposure, Color, Texture, Noise and Artifacts.
However, DxO says the iPhone X doesn’t reach the same heights with video, earning a score of 89.
Overall, DxO gives the iPhone X a score of 97, tied with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which ties both camera phones in second place behind the Google Pixel 2.
