International Garden Photographer of the Year 2016 call for final entries

News

The International Garden Photographer of the Year competition has announced a final call for entries before the entry period closes.

The deadline for entries into the 10th annual competition is Monday, 31 October 2016.

Categories include The Beauty of Plants, Beautiful Gardens, Wildlife in the Garden, Breathing Spaces, Bountiful Earth, Trees, Woods & Forests, Wildflower Landscapes, Greening the City, Portfolios and Photo Projects.

The competition costs £10 GBP to enter and allows you to submit up to four images in one of the categories above.

According to the IGPOTY website, “you can, for example, buy 4 entries for ‘The Beauty of Plants’. You can then, if you wish, buy 4 more entries for ‘The Beauty of Plants’, or 4 more entries for a different category – it is entirely your decision.

“Or you may choose to enter a portfolio of 6 themed photographs. This costs £25 per category entered. You can enter as many portfolios as you like.”
