Insta360 has announced the Titan, a new eight-lens cinematic VR camera that captures 360 images and immersive video at up to 11K resolution.

Priced at $14,999, the Insta360 Titan delivers its high-resolution content via eight Micro Four Thirds sensors – the largest of any VR camera.

Together they can record content in 11K at 30fps, or 10K 3D at 30fps, 8K at 60fps and 5.3K at 120fps. The Titan can also produce 11K 360 photos in 3D and monoscopic formats.

The Titan also incorporates Insta360’s new FlowState Stabilization, which delivers 9-axis stabilization for smooth, stable video footage.

The Insta360 Titan also supports 10-bit colour. Other features include a Farsight live monitoring system, which consists of a transmitter and receiver for remote filming.

CrystalView technology renders your footage in real time so you can preview footage in the moment.
