Insta360 has begun shipments of its new 11K cinematic VR camera, the Insta360 Titan, priced at $14,999.

The eight-lens Insta360 Titan boasts eight Micro Four Thirds sensors for better low-light performance and dynamic range.

Titan is also the first unibody 360 camera ready to record in 11K. Key shooting modes include 11K at 30 FPS, 10K 3D at 30 FPS, as well as 11K 360 photos in 3D and monoscopic formats.

Also inside is Insta360’s FlowState Stabilization technology and a Farsight live monitoring system gives them a long-range, low-latency preview that allows for directing scenes from a safe distance.

Insta360 has also developed a new CrystalView player that allows you to play your Titan footage back at full 11K quality on iOS and Android devices.

The company says it achieves this by rendering only the part of a scene that a viewer is watching at any given moment — with no power wasted rendering what’s behind their head.

Priced at $14,999 USD, Titan is now available globally, with no reservation necessary. You can purchase Titan at Insta360.com, B&H Photo and other select retailers.
