Insta360 has announced the Nano S, a new 4K 360 camera that mounts to your iPhone and inherits features from many of the company’s more advanced 360 cameras.
As well as 4K spherical videos the Insta360 Nano S can capture 360 still images at 20-megapixels in resolution.
The device mounts to the charging port on your iPhone and introduces a number of features designed for sharing your images and videos instantly.
Chief among these is a new 360 Video Chat mode that lets you share an immersive, real-time view of your location. The Insta360 Nano S is also set up for live-streaming and is compatible with Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and more.
The Insta360 Nano S also inherits the popular FreeCapture feature from the Insta360 ONE. This feature allows users to film a video in 360 degrees, then select a favourite vantage point and extract a traditional video format from this footage in Full HD.
Other features include real-time image stabilisation for smoother footage and one-touch sharing.
The Insta360 Nano S price tag is £249 and is available now in black and silver.
