GoPro has laid off somewhere between 200 and 300 members of staff from its drone division, according to a report.

TechCrunch writes that the California-based action camera manufacturer has cut staff from the division that makes GoPro’s Karma drone, stating that it needs to “better align our resources with business requirements.”

GoPro hasn’t commented on the report, and has recently reported revenue spikes of nearly 40%. The company reported profits of $15 million in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the $104 million losses it reported in the same period in 2016.

The profit rise is down to a dramatic restructuring of the business, which saw nearly 400 redundancies at the company. Also, the success of the Hero5 and Hero6 Black have propelled its growth.
