GoPro HERO5 Session
News

GoPro’s small cube sees an update at Photokina 2016 with 4K video and improved design.

GoPro’s Hero Session showed that Gopro could still innovate and when the Session arrived it caused a bit of a stir. For the most part it took a while for people to really get what it was about, and although the design and simplicity proved that the cube was a great device and superb compact action camera the initial price was eye watering.

The latest Session reflects the design of the Hero 5 and even packs in features such as voice control. The small body defies it’s ability as it features 4K video and 10 million pixel stills with burst and time-lapse modes.

The original Session was all about simplicity of use and again the Hero 5 Session continues this with it’s one button approach. As with the Session all other features and adjustments can be quickly accessed through the GoPro app and the new GoPro+ service.

The Hero5 Session as with the new Hero5 Black doesn’t feature a waterproof housing, but is still waterproof to 10m as well as being able to withstand a good knock or two.

The Her0 5 Session price tag £249. Here is a quick rundown of the GoPro Hero5 Session:

  1. Video Resolutions up to 4K at 30 Frames per Second
  2. Professional Quality 10MP Photos
  3. Auto-Upload of Photos and Video to Cloud when Camera is Charging*
  4. Voice Control with Support for 7 Languages (additional languages coming)
  5. Simple 1-Button Control
  6. Waterproof Without a Housing to 33 Feet (10m)
  7. Compatible with Existing GoPro, Mounts Including Karma
  8. Professional-Grade Electronic Video Stabilisation
  9. Distortion-Free Wide Angle Video and Photos with new Linear-View Setting
