Google has released a new video strongly suggesting that it will announce the Google Pixel 2 smartphone on 4 October.
In the video Google shows a series of questions asked by users of the search engine regarding various smartphone problems, before ending with the date of 4 October.
The company doesn’t explicitly say it will announce the Google Pixel 2, but the Pixel is its only smartphone and a successor has been long predicted for release in October.
The Google Pixel was launched last year to rave reviews from photography and tech websites alike, which lauded the image quality produced by its camera.
The announcement will come fresh after its chief rival, Apple, announced the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus and iPhone X earlier this week.
