GFX 50S now $700 cheaper on Amazon, while Fuji launches trade-in deal

Fuji GFX 50S: price, release date, specs confirmed
News

Fujifilm US has launched a new $650 trade-in rebate scheme on its GFX 50S, but Amazon appears to be competing for that trade and offering $700 off in instant savings.

Fuji’s offer is that you can receive $650 off the Fuji GFX 50S (body only) when you trade in your DSLR or interchangeable lens camera. This will get you the GFX 50S body for $5,849, rather than its suggested retail price of $6,499.

You can find a list of qualifying cameras here on Fuji’s GFX trade-in offer website.

Interestingly, there are no Olympus or Panasonic cameras on that list of trade-in options.

Amazon, however, appears to be competing directly against Fujifilm’s offer by launching a $700 instant savings on the GFX 50S on its website. You can now get the GFX 50S body for $5,798 – about $50 less than from Fujifilm.

Fuji’s trade-in offer runs now through Saturday, September 30, 2017. Check the offer page we linked to above for the terms and conditions.

The Amazon offer doesn’t state a time-frame for its savings, but one could likely assume it will last for roughly the same time period as Fujifilm’s offer.
