Fujifilm has officially unveiled its latest tough camera, introducing the 16.4-megapixel Fuji FinePix XP130, price tag £199.

The announcement comes just a day after the press release was leaked online at a Hungarian photo blog and confirms the rumoured new additions to Fujifilm’s XP line.

Among the most interesting new features are the addition of Bluetooth technology, allowing you to transfer images to your phone after you take them, as well as a new Cinemagraph mode.

The XP130’s new Bluetooth capability also syncs the time and location information from your device and applies it to your images. To use this functionality you can download Fuji’s free FUJIFILM Camera Remote app.

The new Cinemagraph mode lets users produce still images with moving elements, and there’s also a new Time-Lapse Video mode.

Fujifilm has also beefed up the XP130’s tough credentials, claiming it’s water-proof down to 20m, shock-proof from heights of 1.75m, as well as freeze-proof and dust-proof.

The Fujifilm XP130 is powered by a 16.4-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and it boasts a Fujinon lens with 5x optical zoom, which can be doubled to 10x using its Intelligent Digital Zoom setting.

The Fuji XP130 weighs just 207g and boasts a 3in 920k-dot LCD screen, on which you can use a new electronic level setting to perfect your compositions.

Other features include 10fps burst shooting and Full HD video recording at 60fps.

The Fujifilm XP130 is available in white, dark silver, yellow, sky blue and lime green.

The Fuji XP130 price is £199, with a release date of February 2018.
