Fujifilm has updated the development roadmap for its interchangeable GF series lenses to include a new tilt & shift lens, an ultra wide-angle zoom and a large aperture prime lens.
On the back of today’s announcement of the Fujifilm GFX 50S II and the GF35-70mm F4.5-5.6 WR, Fujifilm has pledged to develop a new tilt & shift lens for the medium format GFX series that will be aimed at commercial photographers.
Also on the development list will be a GF20-35mm ultra wide-angle zoom lens (16-28mm equivalent) that will be designed for everyday photography.
GFX users will also be getting a new large-aperture standard prime lens in the GF55mm F1.7 (44mm equivalent). The fast f/1.7 aperture will lend itself for shallow depth of field effects and strong bokeh.
In total, Fujifilm is developing 17 lenses for its GFX series.
