Fujifilm registers X-H trademark in Europe

News

Fujifilm has registered a new X-H trademark with European intellectual property authorities, it has been revealed.

The Fuji X-H application date was made with European Union Intellectual Property Office just last week on 18 August 2017.

And according to the application’s list of goods and services that the trademark will apply to, the Fuji X-H will be for:

Digital cameras; lenses for digital cameras; digital camera flashes; cases adapted for digital cameras; straps for digital cameras; image sensors for digital cameras.

We know nothing else about a Fuji X-H beyond this, but Mirrorless Rumors wonders whether the ‘H’ could stand for ‘Hybrid’ and if the X-H could be the company’s long-rumoured X-camera aimed at videographers.
