Fujifilm has announced a worldwide price increase for some of its film ranges and all of its photographic paper.
In a press statement the Fujifilm Corporation explained that it has faced risings costs of its raw materials and logistics. Up until now the company says it has absorbed these costs by reforming its production system but will now need to raise its prices.
Fujifilm’s Color Negative Film, Color Reversal Film, Quick Snap and Control Strips will all see a minimum price increase of 30%.
Meanwhile, all of the company’s photographic paper will see a double-digit percentage increase.
Fujifilm says the price hikes will be effective from 1 April 2019.
