Fuji is developing a new raw conversion software called Fujifilm X Raw Studio, which will launch in November 2017 for Mac users.
A Windows version of the Fuji raw conversion software will debut in late January 2018. And the Fuji X Raw Studio system will be compatible with the Fuji GFX 50S, Fuji X-T2, Fuji X-Pro2 and Fuji X100F.
We don’t know much about Fuji X Raw Studio as yet, but Fuji says in its statement:
Due to the increasing size of RAW files, users have found batch conversion to be an issue, as it takes more and more time as a result. However, using the high performance “X Processor Pro” processor, this batch conversion is handled far more efficiently as a result.
The Fuji raw conversion software will convert raw images via single image or batch processes. It will also allow you to preview your conversion, as well as save, load or copy conversion profiles.
Fuji says the the X Raw Studio system compatible cameras’ firmware will be available in November for the GFX 50S and X-T2 and in December for the X-Pro2 and X100F.
