Light has posted the first full-resolution images from its new Light L16 camera, which recently began shipping to early bird customers.

The Light L16 is a unique new point-and-shoot camera that offers 52-megapixel resolution from its 16 built-in cameras, which Light says makes it ideal for low-light photography and capturing stronger colours and detail.

What’s more, as you zoom in or out, the Light L16 chooses the best combination of its 28mm, 70mm, and 150mm camera modules for your scene.

The company has now posted the first sample Light L16 images at full-resolution on its website, which you can see below.

The company also posted the Light L16 sample photos in the gallery below, which are resized down to 1920px.

The images from Light’s new gallery have been processed using the company’s software, Lumen, which employs Light’s Polar Fusion engine to stitch together the images it captures into one high-resolution image.

The Light L16 is currently sold out until more units become available later this year. We look forward to testing the Light L16 when cameras become available.
