Fengyun has launched a crowdfunding campaign for the JedEye, its new 3D 360 camera that can record 4K video at 30fps.
As well as 4K at 30fps, the JedEye can also record 3K video at 60fps, and it’s built-in battery promises up to two hours of recording time.
The JedEye is the follow-up to Fengyun’s POTOO live-streaming camera, launched back in 2016. The company says the JedEye builds on POTOO’s successes in a smaller, more portable body.
Fengyun says it has begun shipping a number of near-production models to early customers.
At the time of writing, early bird options for backing the project on Kickstarter begin at a price tag of $199, which gets you the Fengyun JedEye and various accessories depending on what package you back.
