Aimed at professional photographers, post-production experts and anyone working in the high-end imaging sector the new EIZO CG279X is set to offer professionals exceptional image reproduction.

EIZO has now released details on this 27-inch monitor. It covers 99% of the Adobe RGB gamut and promises best in class colour accuracy, consistency and clarity.

The 27-inch monitor is an ideal size for post production and offers precise colour management and a range of additional features designed to meet the needs of all post-production workers.

The new screen will offer a 2560×1440 resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio with a 109ppi pixel density.

Using a USB-C connection the monitor will display 1,024 tones, through DVI 256 tones. Display colours are equally impressive with USB-C, DisplayPort and HDMI offering 1.07 billion from a 24-bit palette.

The monitor also features brightness stabilisation and Digital Uniformity Equaliser.

The EIZO CG279X will be the first ColorEdge to feature USB Type-C which will join DisplayPort, HDMI and four USB downstream ports.

A built-in calibration sensor will help to ensure that the monitor always displays the best quality image whatever the lighting conditions.

Being a pro monitor the warranty features five years on-site.

The CG279X will be available to purchase from 2nd January 2019.
