DJI has announced a new Multilink accessory, which is a wireless connector that supports a master controller and up to three slave controllers.

Aimed at aerial filmmakers, the DJI Multilink allows users to create slave networks to form a star network. The master controller serves as the hub of this network, via which the slave controllers can send commands to the aircraft and receive images and video.

DJI’s Multilink accessory is compatible with the Inspire 2 and Cendence remote controllers and uses a dual band operating frequency of 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz to maintain a steady connection. The Multilink can maintain a connection at distances of up to 150m from each other, DJI says.

DJI has announced its Multilink price tag will be £89 / €99 and will be available for purchase as of today.
