DJI could be working on a cheaper version of the Hasselblad X1D medium format camera, according to a new patent discovered online.

Gizmodo Japan stumbled across the patented images, filed by DJI, which appear to look just like the X1D. And given that DJI now has a majority stake in Hasselblad, it would make sense for the two companies to share tech.

The two companies have also collaborated in the past to develop a 50-million-pixel medium format sensor.

As Mirrorless Rumors suggests, DJI could be developing a cheaper version of the X1D for the Asian market.
