DJI launches Phantom 4 Pro V2.0

News

DJI has launched the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, an update to its popular Phantom drone which adds new OcuSync transmission technology for high-resolution and low-latency digital video transmission.

What’s more DJI says the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is 60% quieter than its predecessor, cutting down on propeller noise significantly.

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 offers 30 minutes of flight time and a 7km transmission range. It also incorporates DJI’s 5-directional obstacle sensing system.

The noise reduction and OcuSync technology (the Phantom 4 Pro uses the Lightbridge video transmission system) are really what’s new here, though. The other specs remain the same as the Phantom 4 Pro.

Both drones use a 1-inch 20-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor that can record 4K video at 60fps and shoot stills at 14fps in its burst mode. It’s also compatible with DJI Goggles for first-person views of your flights.

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is available now, priced $1,499. The price tag includes the aircraft, battery, remote controller, four pairs of propellers, battery charger, power cable, gimbal clamp, Micro USB cable, microSD Card and a carrying case.

The Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 is priced at $1,799 and includes all P4P V2.0 accessories, but with a 5.5-inch monitor built into the remote controller.
