DJI has added a new drone to its Phantom range, introducing the DJI Phantom 3 SE, price tag $599.
Aimed at new and beginner drone pilots, the DJI Phantom 3 SE boasts a 25-minute flight time and a revamped camera that can record 4K resolution.
The DJI Phantom 3 SE camera shoots 4K video at 30fps and can capture 12-megapixel still images. Its lens can also capture a 94-degree field of view.
As well as its 25-minute flight time, the DJI Phantom 3 SE boasts a 4km control range and an enhanced vision positioning system that uses sensors to measure the altitude and speed of the drone.
Other key features include an improved WiFi video transmission system and flight speeds of up to 35mph. The Phantom 3 SE will also automatically record a home point and return to that location when its battery, or the remote controller’s, gets too low.
