Canon has announced a duo of lightweight, affordable super-telephoto lenses, introducing the RF 600mm F11 IS STM and RF 800mm F11 IS STM.
The new Canon RF 600mm F11 and RF 800mm F11 lens price tags will be £749.99 and £979.99, respectively.
The new super-telephoto lenses are concepts that offer a minimum focusing distance of 4.5m for the RF 600mm F11 and 6m for the RF 800mm F11.
Both the RF 600mm F11 and RF 800mm F11 will be equipped with Image Stabilization technology and also support Dual Pixel CMOS A when mounted on an EOS R system camera.
The lenses are designed to be lightweight and portable. To achieve the they lenses feature a retractable barrel structure so that they are extended when in use and retract when packed away.
Other features include STM technology for smoother, quieter focusing, making them ideal for video, and a Lens Control Ring on both the RF 600mm F11 and RF 800mm F11 allow you to adjust settings.
The Canon RF 600mm F11 price tag will be £749.99 / €869.99, while the Canon RF 800mm F11 price tag is set for £979.99 / €1,149.99.
