Canon will release a series of firmware updates to add a 23.98fps frame rate for video recording to the EOS RP, EOS 90D and PowerShot G7X Mark III.
The new 24p video mode will be available when shooting at both 4K and Full HD resolutions.
Canon says the first round of 24p video firmware updates will arrive in late October for the EOS 90D and EOS RP.
Canon will then update the PowerShot G7X Mark III and G5 X Mark II at the end of December.
What’s more, Canon says it will add 23.98fps video to the EOS M6 Mark II sometime in 2020.
