Inside the Billingham, Thomas is a lightweight yet supremely padded, designed to keep all your kit safe. Back to the executive type and the kit they need this bag features handy removable umbrella straps, a matching leather shoulder pad and a leather luggage tally.
As the perfect partner for business travellers who may endure the odd shower the precision-made exterior is made from rugged three-layer, waterproof FibreNyte material. This is all made at the company’s Midlands-based production facility in England.
As is common with camera bags the interior of the bag is divided with multiple interior pockets to help organise a selection of accessories.
The distinctive, leather handles have been laser-cut, stitched and meticulously hand-finished using unique equipment invented by Billingham’s own engineers.
Ensuring maximum durability the base of the Thomas is reinforced with top-grain leather hide for increased strength and defence against knocks or drops
The ‘ClogBalls’ that help to secure the front pockets and shoulder sling are built from durable solid brass. The bag also features three deep pockets within the main interior compartment, with the front two open to drop in small items such as maps, diaries or sunglasses for easy access.
On the rear is a large pocket that runs for the whole length of the bag and is secured with a zip to safeguard
The internal pocket full-length zip features a material flap, protecting contents such as a laptop from ever being damaged by the zip and also helping to enhance the overall look of the bag’s interior.
Three exterior pockets provide plenty of room for items such as plug adaptors or a mouse.
On the back is a full-length exterior pocket, perfect for stowing a newspaper or magazine. Mindful of protecting laptops from possible scratches, Billingham has incorporated a nylon zip into the top of the bag, while the long brass zip pulls help the traveller to find the puller when in a hurry.
