Billingham has announced the 72 camera bag, which is designed for small mirrorless and compact cameras, as well as fixed prime lens cameras.

The bag is making its debut at the Digital Splash trade show in Liverpool this weekend. Priced at £100, the Billingham 72 measures 150 x 130 x 190mm (WxDxH) and is designed for cameras like the Leica Q on up to cameras like the Fuji X-T2.

The Billingham 72 offers a water-resistant body that can withstand most bad weather, while its FibreNyte material promises protection against wear and tear.

Other features include the Billingham 72’s Quick Release System, which comprises a leather tab and brass ClogBall, allowing users to open the bag quickly with one hand and retrieve the camera.

The Billingham 72 also comes with a detachable shoulder sling made of extra strong, shuttle-woven spun polyester, which the company says is long enough to be worn across the body. It also incorporates a wide belt loop for those who prefer to keep their camera closer.

A removable foam base and vertical padded divider attached with Velcro are included with the Billingham 72, enabling the photographer to configure the bag and adjust it to fit their individual requirements.

A small pocket on the front can store a spare battery, lens cap or memory cards.
