Apple used an unreleased 8K Canon Cinema EOS camera to live stream footage of its new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR at their launch event this week.
In a live stream from Apple’s WWDC event, YouTuber Jonathan Morrison highlights the new 8K Canon camera, which was mounted on a robotic arm and used to capture 4:4:4 ProRes 8K Raw footage.
The camera appears to share the Canon C-series design and could possibly be an update to the EOS C300 Mark II. You can see the camera in Morrison’s video below.
