Apple Aperture will officially die after after Mojave 10.4

Apple Aperture, the photo editing and management software that the company ceased supporting back in 2014, will officially no longer exist after Apple updates its Mojave 10.4 OS.

Apple stopped updating and providing support for Aperture some five years ago, but diehard fans – of whom there are many – have been able to still use it in its last iteration.

However, MacRumors reports that a hidden Apple support page reveals that Aperture will no longer be able to operate after Apple updates its current operating system.

Apple does provide instructions, though, to help users migrate their Aperture libraries over to Apple’s Photo app, as well as Lightroom Classic.

The only way for the truly diehard Apple Aperture fans to carry on using the software is to avoid updating your OS.
