3 Legged Thing has introduced Roxie QD, an updated version of its popular Roxie L-bracket for Canon’s R5, R5C, R6, and R6 Mk II cameras. The new model maintains its precise, custom fit while adding QD (quick detach) compatibility, making it easier to attach and remove QD straps and accessories.

Peak Design Capture Clip compatibility
Roxie QD marks the first dedicated Capture Clip-compatible L-bracket for these Canon cameras. Peak Design Capture Clip (v3) compatibility is enabled through a glass-reinforced nylon adapter and a durable stainless steel camera screw, both included in the package. This ensures a secure and reliable mounting option for photographers who use Capture Clip systems.
Design enhancements and accessory support
The Roxie QD retains all the features that made its predecessor a favourite among photographers, including:
- Full access to battery doors and side ports
- A locator pin and custom shaping to prevent twisting
- A strap attachment slot on the base
- Two ¼”-20 threaded holes in the upright for accessories like 3LT’s Pivot magic arms
- A cut-out for rear screen movement
- Security pins on both the base and upright for added stability
Constructed from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy with stainless steel fixings, Roxie QD is available in 3 Legged Thing’s signature finishes: Copper and Darkness (matte black).
