3 Legged Thing has launched a range of new matte black versions of its popular Punks tripods, introducing the Punks Anarchy line.

The 3 Legged Thing Punks Anarchy range includes matte black versions of the Punks Billy, Travis and Corey tripods, which also feature new metallic slate anodised elements with hints of green.

“For many years we have been known as the protagonists of natural pantones on our products, but increasing demand from our network of dealers and customers around the world has lead us to create a new black version, but with a difference,” says 3 Legged Thing CEO Danny Lenihan.

“The Matte-Black powder coating is tactile and beautifully finished, and complimented by the anodised elements of copper and metallic slate.”

All of the other features of the Billy, Travis and Corey remain, including a detachable monopod leg, ultra-low level shooting, macro capability, multiple mounting points, bubble-grips and 3LT’s Tri-Mount technology.

The Corey and Travis’ legs and columns are made from Magnesium Alloy, while the Billy is made from 8 layers of carbon fibre.

The Punks Anarchy price tag starts at £149 for the Billy, £169 for the Corey and £250 for the Billy. The tripods are available for pre-order now and will ship in December.
